The Quiet Things

Voice Direction, Mocap Direction and Casting Direction for The Quiet Things, the debut title from micro-indie studio Silver Script Games.

Based on a true story and featuring real diary entries, The Quiet Things is an autobiographical narrative driven game with the aim of opening conversation about the more taboo aspects of mental health, especially the impact childhood abuse has on a person.

Responsibilities include:

  • casting of all characters and management of casting proces

  • creating character briefs and casting packs for all characters

  • scheduling actors and liaison with agents

  • development of character performance in collaboration with the creative director/writer

  • voice direction of actors for all game dialogue

  • direction of motion capture (mocap) sequences and actions

  • liaison and collaboration with Wellbeing Facilitators and Intimacy Directors
